We had an OPEN STUDIO last night, and I was fascinated by the kids' reactions ❤️ It was so lovely to see children aged 5 to 11 discussing my abstracts, turning them upside down, and finding tiny hidden images, figures, and faces that were not intentionally painted.

'MAGIC WOODS,' an oil on canvas piece 24" x 48", was the winner of the 'Most Conversational Piece' contest. A deep lake inside the woods and a black hole in space were found among other images... while I painted it intuitively, in a meditative mode, with no preliminary sketches or chosen color palette... There is more than meets the eye! The painting's vibrant energy draws everyone in!
