Outsider Art Fair in New York 2024

I just returned from the Outsider Art Fair in New York, and I was blown away by the size of the artistic community, the international outreach, and the level of interest from the public. It was fascinating to dive in and join the celebration of intuitive and outsider artists. As an intuitive and self-taught painter myself, I had considered the ability to paint intuitively in a meditative mode as a 'soft' skill. Apparently, it is not. Surprisingly, my degree in mechanical engineering seems to surprise more people than my ability to paint. It’s a continuous learning curve for me.
