Sedona Mountains

SEDONA MOUNTAINS oil on canvas was created after a summer trip to magical Sedona and the mountains in Utah.

While painting, I realized that there were two aspects of the trip - one was an overwhelming physical presence of surrounding mountains, and second, a strong feeling of these subtle energies. We learned that Sedona is famous for its vortexes. In fact, the word “vortex” was first introduced in Sedona and it meant an energy spot. Most likely, our planet also has chakras or vortexes similar to our body’s chakras - places of consolidated energy. While enjoying this artwork, you may discover that there is more than meets the eye and feel higher energies transmitting from Sedona Mountains.
